I have a 1967 Perkins 3 cylinder Gas in my tractor and it is a great engine that is almost bullet proof. It has 40 some HP but the 50 lb flywheel and 2 stage clutch gives it a lot of low end tork! They made the same block in a diesel just changed a few parts on it.
