For those of you with 318's and PS

My truck's 318 is bare bones and only has a single groove crank pulley. My stock steering box is unhappy and has forced my hand to start collecting parts for the upgrade.
I see various 2,3 and 4 groove pulleys on eBay but styles vary. Does anyone know if there are any appreciable differences between applications? I'm mostly worried about fore/aft depth and making sure the grooves line up at the end of the day.
