That is a clean truck, no dirt on it.
That is the original faded paint.
If anything I might wipe it down with Mineral Oil, or ATF to give it a shine and keep rust from forming on the surface, that is what I do with my 48 with original paint.
I used to have a bucket truck for tree trimming that I washed with 2 cycle gas, it removed all the tar based paint we sprayed on the fresh cuts, and kept it clean and had a thin film that shined. Had several remark on how nice it looked and were surprised when they learned how I washed it.
