Stock vs aftermarket wheels

Curious as to what most of you would do for wheel choice on pw/wc. If you went with a modern wheel by stockton or mrw, would you choose 16" or 17" diameter to replace original wheels? My tire guy who has replaced tires for me in the past on both pw and combat wheels,no longer cares to do themm anymore. Says insurance and younger inexperienced help is reason and he is getting old. Looks like i may be getting new wheels!!!
