I would also make sure the metal shims are clean, shiny and have no rust on them. If they do, oils will seep through them also. On the shim side retainers, I applied #2permatex to both sides of the paper gasket and on the last metal shim that goes against the TC cover. Make sure all the metal shims are shiny and have no rust on them, if they do oil wil leak through them. On the case side retainers I applied #2 Permatex to both sides of the paper gasket and bolted them on. No leaks on either side reatainers and it's been 3 plus years. If any of your Yokes have groves in them ,speedy-sleeve them or leaks will occur there. I removed all the studs in the transfer case and permatexed the threads before I re-installed them. I also permatexed both sides of the case and cover gasket. I even permatexed the case bolt and lock washers, especially the lower bolts where the oil constantly sits. You will get a leak free TC this way. Hope this info helps you out.
