Ordered the steel for the 2 sides of the bed today. There going to bend it in the big city then deliver it to our town. I needed a 2" 50 deg bend to bolt on to the sides then go out 12" to the edge of the tires, strait up 90 degs 14" and the top edge bent back 90 degs with a 2" wide top. I will put a box steel section under the lip. Going to use up another 5' x 10' x 3/16" steel plate. That makes the bed a couple inches short of 7 ft wide and 10 ft long. After I bolt that on I can have the cab end cut to size and figure out the tail gate later. The cab end will come up higher then 14" but not sure yet how much. I need to see the sides on first.
