There is a situation that has happened more than once on dairy farms, where there is a problem with stray current in the milking parlor.
What was noticed is the cows would not give the quantity of milk they should by producing. After a lot of tests by the veterinarian and nutritionists, etc., sometimes they figured out the cows were getting little shocks, not enough to cause them to bellow or jump, but enough to make them not let their milk down.
The dairy farmers that have had this happen lost any hair they had left trying to figure that one out!
