If I read this correctly you have your timing set to TDC?
You mean TDC is were it was when you installed the Dist?
Factory timing was something like 2 deg, after tdc.
Most found engine runs it's best at around 6 deg. before
With the Pertronix I think you have to go even a little more advance.
Like 8-10deg BTDC
