Since it is the law in Washington State to have them minimum at mid tire I welded up my mounts today. The bed lifts up so no way to really do it right. I used my frame work on the hitch that sticks out to bolt it to. Went out with 2" x 3/16" angle iron. On the 2-1/2" bolts holding it I ordered some "Die Springs" to go on the bolts so if it is hit it can move and not bend then go back into place. Pretty stout springs rated at 217 lbs each with give still. The front mud flab on the rear tires will bolt to the bed to keep stuff from piling up on the tool boxes and protect them from rocks. Don't have to have them on the front wheels there under the fenders. Once I get them on I will take a few pictures but there welded up, drilled and drying.
