Drill the hole under sized first making sure you have a stop on the drill bit before you hit the center shaft in case it is sheared and now a little off center making it so you can't pound it out. Drill both sides to the shaft first then drill a little larger watching for hitting the sides. If you break thru it will be easy to remove the rest with a allen wrench taped in the hole snug and twisted. Don't pound to much on the parts just take your time you do not want to mess up the shaft!
