Thanks to Tim Holloway for the offer of his 'loaner' steering wheel puller and especially to Ken Weza in San Jose for the actual 'Loan' of a Steering Wheel Puller

Many thanks to Greg Coffin for the sage advice about using penetrating oil, keeping the nut on while removing ("Pulling") the steering wheel and the unique suggestion of using a piece of steel (a hardened washer??) against the nut to avoid any unexpected damage.

The steering wheel is OFF and I'm well on the way to getting all of the cracks filled.
