I understand the frustration, and of course it's your call as to how much work you want to put into blocking spam. Unfortunately, since spam is created by humans, only humans can really know it when they see it, and software spam-blocking is always going to miss some. I'm probably the odd one out here, but I don't like to see more and more websites blocking traffic from known TOR exit nodes. TOR is a very useful program. It's the only connection to the civilized world for people who live in various police states like red China. Even in this country a lot of people use it when they want to look at things or say things that they'd rather not have the government (or their ISP) know about. Not all that stuff is illegal, but a person has a right to privacy. I hate to see TOR being equated with "criminal activity" just because some people use it for criminal purposes. It's not a big deal to bounce back and forth between the TOR browser and the unprotected browser, but I'd like to keep TOR as an option for the whole world, at that means not blacklisting known TOR exit nodes.
