Fords starting in 1948 were all fitted with wheels having the killer Firestone RH5° two piece outer rims. Called widow makers. Dodge (and IHC) guys are generally lucky that these companies stayed loyal to the Goodyear style locking ring wheels. Fords 1947 and earlier also had the locking ring wheels, but were 5 lug on 8" pattern going back to 1934. Ford AA/BB trucks 1933 and earlier had the 5 x 6 7/8" pattern like PWs, but generally much too narrow to use with a tall tire. Stu
