So my wife and were leaving a group function Sunday morning and I decided to cruise by the new truck lot to see what was there.
Talk about sticker shock. There were no tonners to look over, and only a few 3/4 tons. Three diesel trucks of which one was new. The used ones had 4K and 15K mileage.
They were all $50K+ !
The half tons were all over $40K, except the ones that were over 50.. I can't imagine what a dually diesel would list for.
(I bought a new truck in 92. Sticker was $15K and I paid 7. I've driven used since then. What a change!)
She was as amazed as I was. Suddenly my interest in another first gen sounds like a good idea. She's even encouraging it..
