Isn't there going to be some heat generated by the bulb inside a sealed container? And isn't the cold water outside that container going to cause condensation?
Like Franz, I also was wondering about leaving the light on constantly. I have always heard that bulbs burning continuously lasted longer and were more efficient than turn on and off.
