We are pushing twice as much fluid, which is divided into 2 separate circuits. In a dual circuit master there are 2 pistons moving on the same shaft, so you are moving twice as much fluid with each stroke. You will have twice as much resistance because you have twice as much surface area with 2 pistons vs 1 piston (given the same bore diameter).
