so yesterday i reached a huge milestone by setting the cab back on the frame its starting to look like a truck again. it still has to be painted but the majority of the body work on the cab is finished. the door look great but the horizontal lines on the exterior door skin don't exactly match up with the body line on the rear drivers side cab corner. i went to a friends house today and checked out 8 of his power wagons and only one of the trucks had doors where the reveal on the door was really good and more noticeably the body lines matched up almost perfectly. right now my door line is about 3/8'' down from the body line.. I'm curious to know what you guys think is acceptable considering my resto is frame off and i want it to look great but don't want to start hacking the cab apart in order to achieve a body line transition
what are your reveals like and how close are the body lines matching up?
the top rear corner of the doors has a 1/2'' reveal while the lower rear of the door is just overlapping the rocker panel... think i can adjust it all in the hinges?
