Lazarus: the answers to most of your questions sort of depends on what you want to do with the truck. Bigger tires will give you faster road speeds, but do not look original. Exhaust pipe originally terminated in front of right rear wheel. I dont think there is a right or wrong way to go it just depends on what your preferences are. As to the steering these trucks are stiff! You will get used to it, Front lock out hubs do help, powersteering kits are available. If she is pulling to the right I would investigate. Check to make sure the brakes are adjusted properly & pull and inspect the rear brakes too. Have fun!!!
