How do you make a PCV system for an old engine? I can see it's not too hard to hook the road draft tube up to the carb intake downstream of the air cleaner, but I can imagine lots of problems with that like globs of oil being sucked into the intake when the vacuum is high and the road rough, or gas fumes getting into the crankcase and exploding. I suppose a gas engine wouldn't run away on crankcase fumes but a worn diesel can suck enough oil in through the PCV to run even with the fuel shut off. Have you rigged something up that works on your truck?
