This is a shameless plug for my new book on the 1944-1945 Preproduction Civilian Jeeps, Model CJ-1 and CJ-2, available in late October, 2001. It will be of interest to those of you who like farming & plowing with trucks instead of tractors, powering equipment with belt pulleys, and learning more about PTOs in general and SASE/SAE PTO and tractor draw bar standards from 1918 to the 1950s in particular. All this development preceeded the use of similar equipment on the Dodge Power Wagon in 1946. Details for buying the book are in the Classified Ads section under General Merchandise.
