They are a tight fit in their holes in rod cops. So an extra fat bolt body might tighten up that side of the cap too tight. In theory. But the bolt body would need to be .002 oversize to tighten the clearance by .001. And many regrinds are .003-.0035. In my day, the machinists were more concerned with never having a seize, instead of ultimate longevity.

If you are worrying, plastigage it, two places- at the separation and at 90 degrees, see if they are any different. And/or mic the bolts.
