I was surprised how little the new unit rod moved? But your right that is what I have to figure out. I need to clamp up the unit and see how far the lever moves then go under the truck and see how far the original rod moves. I am hoping there close. The lower I mount the new unit the less the rod has to move and that is how I was going to adjust it if I could still using a strait rod to the lever.
