I sure hope I DIDNT run it too much to do any damage.
I mean, we waited up to 20 minutes each time before the engine overheated, running it on the timing we did.
It kills me to think I did any damage to the valves.
I didnt get any knocks, BUT the over heating of the exhaust manifold sure showed in the sing of all the paint burnt offf.
same wit hte header pipe from exhaust manifold to muffler. all paint gone in a matter of minutes.. that enngie was putting out some very hot ehhaust.
think one could burn valves in this short of a time?
