The "stock" unit could be used. You see them with a mounting plate with 4 holes on them. That plate can be replaced with different mounting plate. The hydroboost in my carryall was from a 1990s Chevy truck and came with just a large nut on the backside to mount it. I simply built a mounting bracket with the spacing I needed and bolted the hydroboost unit on and staked the nut. If I remember correctly the hydroboost unit has a tab on the mounting surface to stop the unit from rotating.

The problem is that there is still not enough room to mount it in the stock location. It would work well if one flipped the brake master under the drivers floor like they did on the later WM PWs.
