Looking into using something like this under the hood where the battery was mounted. I have 8-12" wide and a couple ft long space open to mount it in. This is a Mopar one and has the reverse linkage in place with a bracket to mount it with. Then I would need to take the rod on the original set up and hook it to a pivot point going up to this unit. Doing it this way I could use the offset original spot to hook to the more centered in the space booster. Hardest part I see to do would be to make the pivots work the unit with the right distance on the push. That could be figured out on a bench mocking up different lengths of strap steel. Parts to do that would be cheap with no modifications to the original set up except the rod and removing the master cylinder. I need to get my truck in the shop so I can see better and have concrete to lay on under the truck to measure it up to see if it would even work. I also need to outside measurements of the booster to make sure it fits under the hood in the space and I can still pull the dist and starter out.
