In years past I've brought home the carcass for soup, something I inherited from Dad. Both the habit and the donation. But 27 servings isn't going to leave anything but a grease stain this year.
Usual census in lower 20s, and this year a few are visiting my Bro in Colorado- he just came down with colon/liver cancer. I suspect the Vietnamese/American side of the family will bolster the attendance, and bring interesting side dishes. I'm sure there will be plenty of the usual suspects too- yams and string bean casseroles.
I hope the pie balance doesn't fall too far towards Colorado...
