WOW impressive tree! I am not sure how old ours is but it has scars from a lot of wild fires in the past. Branches the size of trees near it! The top of it was hit many times by lightning and you could sit up there like in a nest. That is why I put the lightning rod on it to save it and to try to keep lightning from hitting the house in the storms. So far it has worked the last 20 years.
