This is becoming a joke but it is not funny anymore? Set the pump right on TDC but my dist seems to turn a lot further then normal when it is bolted in? I can rotate it almost 100 degrees?? So setting the #1 at 7:00 is subjective on how the dist sits or is turned. Is 7:00 just to the left of the hold down clip or do I need the dist set properly first and forget the clips for the 7:00 setting? Guess I need to know how the dist sits in a close to normal position? I am not sure what that is since it can turn so far? Guess when the engine was on the stand I got it right the first time. Wish I had marked/notated it before I pulled the pump out!!! Got to go to Spokane tomorrow so that day is shot. I am really bummed right now.
