I installed the above kit in my 48. I used my existing locks inside the doors by welding a strip of metal onto the bottom the lock mechanism for the actuator. I had to add a detent and spring to hold the locking rod in position as the actuators will just return to center without it. Easy to do, and very convenient. Also it can easily be un-done for someone who wants to slide out the pass door to lock the truck.
This will require running power to the doors. I used the retracting loom and wish now I had used the door jamb contacts instead.
