Whoever makes the Ford batteries has it figured out. Bought my 2000 7.3 used in 2001 after ten years i thought I should replace them just to be safe and put the old set in my wheel loader that has a 6 BT engine and they are still cranking. I replaced my truck batteries with motor craft from the dealer by the way. And I hate dealers.
