The equivalent of a D400. Basically a 1 1/2 ton chassis that in some cases was rated as a 1 ton due to things like lower rated tires. The rear axles are all much bigger than the ones used in a PW and it would take a lot of custom work to adapt one of those large center sections to a PW axle housing. I can't see it being viable. The big truck carrier looks to be nearly twice the diameter of the PW carrier depending on the year and size of the truck.

Also the ratios are too tall for a PW as the larger trucks are running 20 inch tires or bigger. Ratios in the 6+ range are common. A PW would do about 20 with one of those carriers installed.

Maybe there is a machiest or gear company that could do something? It's a small market so I doubt anyone would take on the R&D.

Eric
