Yep, I was talking about an overdrive and 5.83's, not overdrive plus 4.89. That would be too much for the 230. And, yes, I would swap both the front and rear diffs to the same ratio.
Just wondering if anyone is aware if the Laycock (Dennan-style) overdrive is going to be picked up by someone else, now that Dennis Gronan has retired. Or wondering if there is another option in the works, which doesn't require me to change out my transmission or T-case.
