Came across a bag of old old aviation parts and in it were some field service fittings. They had MS part numbers on them and appear to have been listed obsolete a bit ago but their last application was a Cobra Gunship. I tried installing one on a piece of hose I had but it was a bear as the insert was really really short so getting the threads started was difficult. Are these intended for a specific type of hose? The dimensions on the MS spec match what I have on hand... Or are they just a challenge to assemble being so short?
