Interesting ideas, no one hacked the lines for a filter. Will check the float level and clean carb tomorrow. Checked in carb throat while it was running and there was no fuel dribbling in it. Will also adjust and lube choke while in there. Doubt this is the problem, no other plugs show evidence of excessive fuel, but it is easy and inexpensive enough.
