Some machine shops should have the max spec in a book, I have gone .060 over on many 230s with no issues. each engine design is different. example I just read last week that you can bore a poly 318 .120 over! But you cant on a 318 LA.
I don't have a book on the flathead mopars with those specs. Guessing I would say you can go .080 because they clocks are a bit over designed and have full cylinder length water jackets. Many other engines don't have full length cooling like mopars do. same in the V8s. that's why they warm up so slow.
