Along the way across the Oregon desert I saw something I never saw before -- one semi flat-towing another using a chain between the bumpers. No company logo or 800 number on them, so maybe they belonged to local ranchers.
Other Dodge content: There's an M43 ambulance in the "Thunder Mountain" Indian/hippie/art/??? conglomeration near Imlay, and I saw a D300 dump truck in one of the other small towns. Also saw a gas station that still had an old pump that said "Ethyl" on it. Unfortunately it was closed. Didn't stop to see what price was on the dial.
