If you want performance, you have to do two things besides regrinding the cam:
1. Use swirl finish SS 1 1/2" intake and 1.600 exhaust valves in your 230 using the Chevy keepers and just port it out from the 1 7/16 and 1 1/2 valve size. You might just dress the stems a few thousands as well.
2. Use a Ford glass bowl Holley and matching air cleaner.
If you're looking for performance, you'll have to mix match parts and use a combination of parts.
