That sounds like a plan. I know the tool box will get damaged by rocks and look like crap real fast just driving it on our road getting home. I could just bolt the top and bottom of it to the box so it does not flap around and hit the tires. I have almost 6" of room between them. The angle idea on the front brace will work good point! I have more room to work on the rear so I could mount the mud flap off the frame and the brace off the bed to over lap it. I like the brush idea for rain and spray. My bed goes up another 3" then flat across the tires. I need to jack the axles around to see if I can go lower. Did want to leave some extra room for some bigger tires in the future.
