I was one of a group of Texas Power Wagon collectors who attended the First Annual Arizona Power Wagon Rally held in Williams August 5 & 6, 2006.
Unfortunately, the fellow from Phoenix who did the planning did not show up because his wife would not let him take her car.
None-the-less, the City of Williams responded well to his initial efforts.
It only takes two Power Wagons to have a great event and we had six - four from Texas and two from Arizona. And sometimes the host doesn't have to show up.
We really enjoyed our visit to Williams and met some great Arizona folks.
Mac, you were there.
