the back of the wheel tapers to narrower as you go in so bevel cut the drum the same taper and you won t have to take much off
and move each center to give you mikey stone spec of 11.2 in. center line to center line which should give you bout .8 clearance per tire on 900s
cameron is at 11.9 so he would have to cut more
you could even move the outer out more and the inner out less to give you the same 11.2 there even cut less
there is another scenario that seems interesting and that is move the center out on the back side of the rim for an outer by just pressing it in tight into raised part of the of the rim in the center and rerivet or weld there that way you can have matching dual combats front and rear
