The ones I looked at ACE Hardware had the same circular finish on them and were flat on the bottom and top side. I know my steel won't bend to fit it is 3/16" thick. These better be flat on the bottom. I was hoping the black finish will hold paint better. These were for the bed only. Funny I bought over 200 lbs of assorted new bolts for $60.00 at a auction and still need to buy more. I have got all my money back on the real big ones that were grade 8 and used on my tractors hitch and fender repairs plus fence work.
