I picked the truck from the estimated centroid between the axles to create the most negative moment out of the front of the frame and measured the distance the front cowl moved away from the firewall with the unsprung weight of the truck hanging cantilever out there... 3/32" deflection... so lets double that to go from a full negative moment to a full positive bending moment under a hard landing, and call it 3/16"... I can live with that.

I also did a corner pick... and lifted the right front corner of the truck until I could spin the right rear tire... Ran out of floor jack but the hood alignment twisted 1/4" total... again, pretty darn rigid. AND thats lifting from the front of the frame. The suspension points are shorter back so there should be even less torsion. My frame is super rigid. The idea is to make the suspension do the work, not the frame. i.e., every new truck on the road.
