Here's a pic of my adaptation to the tirewall to suit the Saginaw. Obviously the center is moved over, but I don't know the actual intrusion from the frame. I'll try to get that later.

But I think the best way is to mount the Saginaw PS box on top of the frame, and to the front. The use some M-37 idler arm linkage at the rear to drop the drag link down. That also allows plenty of length to put in TWO u-joints, allowing freedom of placement and angle of the steering column. And for some uses may allow a power brake system in the the stock location- maybe.
