Here's a far-out idea; last spring I started signing up for Basic Welding at our local Community College. Saturday mornings from 0900 to noon we go in and they teach you whatever you want! AO, Arc, MIG, TIG... AND... they have plasma cutters. Hand-held ones and the big comnputerized things you program a picture into and it cuts it out for you. You use their stock and stuff, it's $185.00 here for Eight weeks. Not a bad deal! I did it again in the summer and will again next spring... right after football season!
