I sell on Ebay some too and sometimes the auto calculating shipping charge feature will miss it. You get stuck on the ones that go the wrong way but I too have refunded for overcharges.
Be sure to thank the seller if you haven't. Ebay has all kinds of dings buyers can do to sellers but sellers are basically at their mercy. Bad feedback for overcharges can mean higher fees from Ebay along with bad feedback.
Seller's have to pay a percent on the amount of shipping as well. That is why heavy things for $1.00 opening bids are VERY risky. Seller will loose all the money in fees till it is all done.
