my guess is they can mount it on the front side of the frame support or jsut a tad into it and make a custom neck and spout to the shell hole using the stock cap
or better yet use a neck for a pressurized cap and just tack weld the pressureized cap to the stock cap and noboby cept you will know the diff.
this will work with the high fan--and not with the low fan
what i find odd(sort of) is than on my wc s with the high fan the fan is not centered over the tubes rather bout 2/3rds over the tubes and 1/3 over the top tank
almost seems like it should be centered but i figure if it was good enuff all these years it must be ok
maybe that is why they lowered it to center the pull over the tubes
by the same token the pw has a much bigger tank on the top than the wc cuz the shell is taller
just some thoughts
by the same token as desoto 61 indicates the electric fan may be ok and maybe you just need to make shroud for it
you need to determine if the problem is fan related or a water flow restriction problem
