the 17.5s were an option back then. I have seen them on quite few old D and W series from 50s and 60s. there are a couple truck tires still available. 16s, 17.5s, 3 piece 18s, and 19.5s is what I have seen on D300s over the years. The last one I saw with 17.5s was an ex mobile home hauler
