IIRC, Desoto 61 is doing a center motor in a roof top console w/ radio.
There is a product called kydex. Heat it in the oven, drop it over a shape, cover with a big block of foam, and sit on it until it cools. Would make a bitchin console/cover. There are tutorials on the net, mostly for knife sheaths or pistol holsters. Material available in small pieces, might be able to find the right size for ummm $14. Try eBay, otr I think my link is to a good spot.
