I have owned probably 15 or so land rovers my life. I'd by a junk one fix it up, sell it and start over. The above information is quite accurate. The condition of the frame is paramount. Trucks coming out of a dry environment tend to have good chassis. Many chassis parts are replaceable if you are handy with a welder or know a good welder.Value for these trucks have really gone up in the last several years, however part rigs and restoration projects are still quite plentiful although are beginningto become less common. Take a very careful look at the chassis, the bulk and footwells and area where the doors bolted on. while most parts are available they are becoming more expensive as the supply of genuine parts diminishes.
