The company that makes the Hydraulic Pump I bought got back to me. Locking the bed down is not necessary because the pump locks the flow of fluid to the dual action cylinders when off. So the cylinders will hold the bed down tight. Guess I won't install the front lock downs now. I will leave the center one on since it is finished and if a hose broke it could help hold it in place. I noticed that when I pumped it down on the rubber mounts and stopped they stayed smashed a little and even when I used a 6 ft pry bar to lift the bed frame it was solid with very little give.
